  Imran Khan's party says a senior representative will travel to Washington DC soon to hold talks with US President-elect Donald Trump. Imran Khan - Pakistan's former Prime Minister - has been in jail since 2023 on multiple corruption charges, which his party alleges are politically motivated. Pakistan’s second-largest city Lahore hit by record rain: weather agency

    Pakistan's second largest city of Lahore was deluged with record-breaking rainfall on Thursday, the national weather agency said, with hospitals flooded and power cuts reported.
