Political Groups Demand Funding for Ballot Oversight

Political parties have expressed frustration over the Electoral Commission’s decision not to pay for their participation in monitoring ballot paper printing in South Africa. Manuel Ngaringombe, secretary general of the Popular Democratic Movement, said the four selected parties should not have to cover their own expenses for such a critical process.  ECN’s spokesperson, De Wet Siluka.
