Government has welcomed the United States Department of State's decision to remove Cuba from the list of countries not fully cooperating against terrorism. Penda Naanda, Executive Director at the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, expressed concern over Cuba's continued placement on the State Sponsors of Terrorism list.

Namibia has expressed solidarity with South Africa in its initiative to bring Israel before the International Court of Justice with the goal of halting its military activities in Gaza. The proceedings will take place at the ICJ in The Hague, Netherlands. Penda Naanda, the Executive Director of International Relations and Cooperation, made this announcement.
