IPC Denies British Funding Allegations And Pledges Inclusive Governance

The Independent Patriots for Change has dismissed claims of being funded by the British government, labeling them as "Swapo propaganda." IPC general secretary Christine !Aochamus accused Swapo of spreading false narratives. Meanwhile, IPC leader Panduleni Itula stated at a Walvis Bay campaign event that, if victorious in the National Assembly elections, he would form a merit-based Cabinet inclusive of individuals from other political parties.

The office of the Media Ombudsman, in collaboration with its partners, has released the findings from the recently launched 2024 Presidential and National Assembly Elections Media Monitoring Report. The report includes media coverage from June to July 2024.
