Political solution

The United Nations Human Rights Office is calling for a political solution to the conflict between Israel and Hamas, built on the only viable long-term basis, the full respect of the human rights of Palestinians and Israelis. UN Human Rights chief Volker Türk says the renewed and intensified hostilities will lead to even more deaths, diseases, and destruction than seen before.
