Political Groups Demand Funding for Ballot Oversight

Political parties have expressed frustration over the Electoral Commission’s decision not to pay for their participation in monitoring ballot paper printing in South Africa. PDM’s Venaani dismisses Ren-Form lawsuit

Leader of the Popular Democratic Movement, McHenry Venaani says the party will not boycott the upcoming elections, despite recent protests against the awarding of the ballot printing tender to Ren-Form. Venaani has also dismissed Ren-Form CC's legal threat against the party, calling it a bluff and labelling the lawsuit “an empty gesture”.
