COBRA meeting called over United Kingdom riots and injuries

The UK government is holding an emergency 'COBRA' meeting on Monday after a weekend of rioting. There were violent scenes in towns and cities which saw over 150 people arrested and police officers injured. The UK's Home Office has also offered greater protections for mosques after some were attacked during weekend unrest. NamPol records over 110 000 criminal cases

Road accident deaths decrease by 30% in 4 years

Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorwa, has announced that the number of traffic fatalities decreased by 30% between 2019 and 2023.
