Prime Minister Kuugongelwa-Amadhila facilitates public tribute with early leave for civil servants

As Namibia, Africa, and the world prepare for the funeral of the late President Hage Geingob, the Office of the Prime Minister has directed civil servants to only work until 10 am on Friday, 23 February 2022. Information minister to announce military procession route for late President Geingob

Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, has announced that the Namibian Defence Force will lead a military procession with the remains of the late President Hage Geingob across the capital city on Friday, allowing the public to pay their last respects. Theofelus was speaking at the Government Information Center. According to the Namibia Press Agency, the exact routes will be announced later this week.
