Von Bach dam hits lowest level since 2017

The Von Bach dam is currently standing at 12.6%, the lowest since January 2017 while the Swakoppoort levels continue to decline. NamWater has meanwhile faced challenges transferring water from Swakoppoort to Von Bach, leaving Windhoek reliant on aquifers, should the rainy season disappoint. Ondangwa Town Council cleans up to mitigate flood risks

  Employees of the Ondangwa Town Council have started cleaning water channels and culverts in order to mitigate floods risks during the rainy season.
