Antonio Guterres says “The world is forgetting about the people of Sudan”

United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres says the people of Sudan need peace. He was speaking in New York on Monday marking one year since fighting broke out between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the rebel paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. Jody Jacobs has more from the United Nations.

More than 30 killed in strikes on Sudan capital: NGO

Fighting between rival Sudanese forces including air strikes on the capital Khartoum have killed at least 33 civilians, pro-democracy lawyers said overnight to Friday.
