Trump: no US troops will be involved in Gaza rebuild plan

US president Donald Trump says no US troops would be needed to rebuild Gaza, an effort he said would only happen after the fighting ends. His Secretary of State has called the President's proposal "very generous", even though it has drawn international condemnation. Nick Harper reports from Washington.

S.A. Parliament Allocates R6 Million Budget for SONA

S.A's Parliament secretary Xolile George has confirmed a six-million-rand budget for the State of the Nation Address. Dignitaries, members of parliament, and former presidents will attend the event. George says the allocation is due to increased logistical costs of hosting the event at Cape Town City Hall following the 2022 fire. He confirmed that the reconstruction of Parliament is still ongoing:
