Ministry Official Faces Charges for Unpermitted Transportation of Animal Feed Bags

A 40-year-old official from the Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism, Johannes Haufiku, made his initial appearance in the Rundu Magistrate’s Court on Monday. Haufiku, arrested last Thursday, is accused of transporting 39 private animal feed bags without an official permit. Magistrate Sonia Samupofu granted him bail of N$3000 during the hearing.
