MVA Fund records youth account for 55% of road accident injuries

The Motor Vehicle Accident Fund has revealed that young people aged 18 to 35 were disproportionately affected by motor vehicle accidents, constituting 55% of total injuries recorded during the first nine months of 2024. Road accident deaths decrease by 30% in 4 years

Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorwa, has announced that the number of traffic fatalities decreased by 30% between 2019 and 2023.
