The Pentagon says 10 thousand North Korean soldiers are in Russia

US confirms North Korean troops now in Russia

North Korean troops are now in Russia, the United States has confirmed. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told reporters there is "evidence" of soldiers in the region. Ukraine's military intelligence earlier said troops were expected to arrive in Russia to join Moscow's fight against Ukraine's incursion. Sally Patterson reports.

Japan annoyed at Russia’s denial of airspace violation

Japan is expressing frustration at Russia’s denial that it intruded into its airspace last month. Tokyo says a Russian military patrol plane flew over waters north of Hokkaido three times prompting an Japanese Self-Defense Force fighter jet to fire a signal flare. Russia targets Kyiv in drone attack

Russia launched multiple waves of drones targeting Ukraine's capital on Monday morning. Air raid alerts lasted for over five hours as air defense units worked to intercept attacks.     Reuters further reports that all the drones that Russia launched at Kyiv were either destroyed by defence systems or neutralised by electronic warfare, Serhiy Popko, the head of Kyiv's military administration said on the Telegram messaging app.
