Deputy president Paul Mashatile says load-shedding remains one of the most stubborn challenges in the government’s efforts to grow the country’s economy. He addressed the National Council of Provinces yesterday. Mashatile says load-shedding has also adversely affected people’s overall quality of life, therefore government continues implementing the Energy Action Plan to achieve energy security. He says the plan includes five key pillars.
