Namibia has joined the rest of the world in commemorating Menstrual Hygiene Day. This year’s theme "Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld", aims to eliminate menstrual taboos. The DA in Gauteng tabled several motions in 2023 and the ANC, through its majority, rejected the many motions. Aside from last week's report on the blocking of the motion made on a Fishrot-related bill, the Popular Democratic Movement in Namibia faced one more blockage this year from the SWAPO majority parliament.
