Home Affairs opens 2026 student permit applications

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security has opened applications for student permits for the 2026 academic year. The application period runs from 3 November to 20 March 2026. Government tells foreign students in Namibia to comply with immigration laws on employment

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security has warned foreign students to comply with the Immigration Control Act and not look for jobs and engage in side hustles.
