UN special envoy says “tough times” lie ahead for Syrians

The United Nations special envoy to Syria says nothing "must stop" Syria's peaceful transition. Geir Pedersen briefed reporters on Tuesday and says while great opportunity lies ahead for the people of Syria, there are also some grave risks. US charges Syrians with war crimes

The United States has filed war crimes charges against two high-ranking Syrian military figures who it accuses of torturing American citizens. It comes after the government of Bashar al-Assad collapsed, with the former president fleeing the country. Nick Harper reports from Washington.
