UN Secretary General condemns attack on Rafah

200 people have reportedly been killed following an air strike on Rafah over the weekend. These are the updated figures from the UN's aid agency, UNRWA on Tuesday. The UN Secretary-General has condemned in the strongest terms the attack saying he is heartbroken by the images of the killed and injured. Jody Jacobs reports from the United Nations in New York.

U.N says it could take decades to reconstruct Gaza

The United Nations says it could take until 2040 to rebuild all the homes that have been destroyed in Gaza. In a report released by the UN on Thursday it says there has been billions of dollars in damage especially to homes, following nearly seven months of conflict. Jody Jacobs has more.
