UN Secretary General condemns attack on Rafah

200 people have reportedly been killed following an air strike on Rafah over the weekend. These are the updated figures from the UN's aid agency, UNRWA on Tuesday. The UN Secretary-General has condemned in the strongest terms the attack saying he is heartbroken by the images of the killed and injured. Jody Jacobs reports from the United Nations in New York.

UN resumes aid deliveries from floating pier in Gaza

The United Nations has suspended food distribution in the southern Gaza city of Rafah due to a lack of supplies and an untenable security situation caused by Israel's expanding military operation. The UN’s Scott Anderson says they are now re-evaluating logistics and security measures in Gaza.

International Court of Justice holds hearings over Rafah offensive

The International Court of Justice is holding a hearing over South Africa's demands that Israel halt its offensive in Rafah. Late last year Pretoria brought a case against Israel to the UN's top court accusing it of violating the genocide convention. Allegations Israel has denied.
