Apple announces big investment in US

Apple has announced a huge $500bn investment in the United States as it shifts more business to the US amid the Trump administration's new tariff regime. The tech giant announced it's hiring 20,000 Americans and building a manufacturing factory to produce servers for artificial intelligence. It comes as President Donald Trump imposes a 10% tariff on all products from China, where most iPhones are made. Benji Hyer reports.

China anger as US amends wording on Taiwan independence

China accused the United States on Monday of a "serious regression" in its position on Taiwan, after the State Department updated the Taiwan section of its website to remove a reference to the independence of the Beijing-claimed island. The move has been welcomed by Taiwan, with its Foreign Minister thanking the US for what he called "positive, Taiwan-friendly wordings". Laura Westbrook has more.

TikTok Returns to US App Stores After Ban Postponed

TikTok is back on app stores in the United States today after President Donald Trump postponed enforcing a ban of the popular social media platform. The proposed law — passed by Congress, signed by former President Joe Biden, and upheld by the Supreme Court — had ordered TikTok's Chinese owner ByteDance to sell the application, or else face a ban in the US.
