U.S charges man of Iranian plot to kill Donald Trump

  The United States has criminally charged a person in connection with an alleged plot, thwarted by the FBI, to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump. In a statement on Friday, the US Department of Justice said the man had been assigned by an Iranian government official to take part in a murder-for-hire plot before this week's election.
