30 New Peace Corps Volunteers Sworn In

30 new Peace Corps Trainees were sworn in at the town of Okahandja, starting their two-year commitment as Health and Economic Empowerment Volunteers. Since 1990, a total of 1,886 volunteers have worked on community projects across Namibia. With the addition of this group, 60 volunteers are now serving in regions from Lüderitz to Katima Mulilo. Bank Windhoek supports sustainable feeding schemes

  Aiming to keep children in school while nourished, Bank Windhoek donated N$252,000 to Imago Dei Welfare and Poverty Relief. Imago Dei facilitated the feeding scheme from August 2023 with feeding programmes and soup kitchens to feed over 1700 children in five regions.
