US lawmakers on Wednesday are voting on a bill banning non-citizens from taking part in federal elections - something which is already illegal. The SAVE Act would mandate voters to prove their citizenship in order to cast their ballot. Democrats call the measure unnecessary and designed to sow distrust among voters. Sally Patterson has more.
