UNSC to vote on Gaza Ceasefire Resolution

Putin Claims Election Victory

Russian President Vladimir Putin says he'll prioritise military operations in Ukraine after claiming another six-year term in elections. Official results gave him more than 87% of the vote. Western countries say the election was not free or fair and insist voting in Ukrainian territory was illegal. Death toll in Gaza reach the 30 thousand mark

The death toll in the Israel-Hamas war has now risen to 30 thousand according to Palestinian health officials. More than 100 people were killed on Thursday morning after Israeli troops reportedly opened fire as people pulled flour and canned goods off of delivery trucks. Human Rights Watch accuses Israel of not complying with ICJ order

Human Rights Watch says Israel has failed to comply with the International Court of Justice order connected with the genocide case brought against it by South Africa. Israel is expected to report back to the court on the actions it's taken to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza, and how it's prevented the commission of genocidal acts. White House Blames fall of Avdiivka on dwindling ammunition and “congressional inaction”

The White House says Russian forces were able to capture the strategically critical town of Avdiivka because the Ukranians are running out of ammunition and it blamed Congress for failing to agree on a new round of funding. The fall of the town of Avdiivka in Ukraine's Donbas region is seen as Russia's biggest victory since last year's capture of Bakhmut. Our Washington Correspondent Jagruti Dave has more.
