insert_link World Fatalities confirmed in Washington plane-helicopter crash US authorities have confirmed there are fatalities after a commercial plane and military helicopter crashed at Ronald Reagan airport just out of Washington DC. At this stage the number of deaths is not known. A major search and rescue operation is underway, as teams search the Potomac River next to the airport where both aircraft crashed.
