Immanuel Mulunga Challenges Prosecution Over Enercon Deal 

  Former NAMCOR managing director Immanuel Mulunga told Windhoek Magistrate’s Court that the state has no legal basis to prosecute him. Reporting for NewsOnOne, Envaalde Matheus noted that Mulunga clarified the N$53 million Enercon asset purchase was conducted through NAMCOR Petroleum Trading and Distribution (Pty) Ltd—not the state-owned NAMCOR—and that he acted within his contractual authority, rejecting the Anti-Corruption Commission’s allegations.

No Bail for Namcor Corruption Suspects as companies join the list

Entities connected to the N$480 million Namcor corruption case face fresh scrutiny as eight people implicated were denied bail in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on Thursday. Magistrate Olga Muharukua presided over arguments after the Anti-Corruption Commission made the arrests. The group will attempt another bail bid on Monday, 14 July. Willem Snyman  for NewsOnOne:
