UNAM Southern Campus lecture block inaugurated

Speaking at the inauguration of the lecture hall complex at the University of Namibia Southern Campus in Keetmanshoop, Deputy President, Nangolo Mbumba, pointed out that the country’s youth will only be able to fully participate and benefit economically if they are skilled and have requisite know-how. It is for this reason, he said, that the University of Namibia has taken a deliberate decision to relocate Geoscience Programmes from the UNAM Main Campus to the Southern Campus, and collaborations have forged with the mining industry, notably Skorpion Zinc.
