The 2023 edition of the Nedbank Desert Dash is scheduled to take place from 08 to 09 December 2023, starting at Grove Mall in Windhoek and ending at Swakopmund’s Platz Am Meer Mall, with riders cycling through the Khomas-Hochland Mountains in 24 hours.

Over 1 000 cyclists have entered for this year’s event, with 160 cyclists participating in the two-person teams, 624 in the four-person teams, and 190 cyclists riding solo.

Meanwhile, 38 participants will compete in the new half-dash category, which will see cyclists over 50 cycling from the Hollard Halfway point to the finish line. The race will also include its first-ever e-bike category for four-person teams, where each cyclist must ride on an e-bike.
