The party argues president Cyril Ramaphosa’s pledges for a professional Public Service now appear hollow as the ANC unilaterally canceled a crucial meeting on the adoption of the Public Service Amendment Bill. The DA’s Leon Schreiber says the ANC’s move, following a series of delays, practically rules out passing the bill before the parliamentary term ends.
