An SA political expert says reconciliation and unity has been undermined by state failure

SA Political analyst and associate professor at Wits School of Governance, William Gumede, says reconciliation and unity in South Africa have been undermined by state failures and corruption. His comments were made as the country commemorated Reconciliation Day under the theme ‘Strengthening Unity and Social Cohesion.’ Gumede expressed concern that leaders are not governing in the interests of South Africans.
