today31 January, 2024

Background

In a decisive move on Saturday, the National Unity Democratic Organisation opted to embrace reconciliation by adopting recommendations from the National Executive Committee. The party has resolved to reinstate members who were previously suspended or expelled, with allegations ranging from infringing upon party legislation to fostering disunity. According to Kapukatua Kuvare, the vice chairperson of Nudo’s National Council, the decision was made during a meeting in Windhoek on Sunday. Notably, the National Council lifted the suspension of Ambros Mundjindjiri, a National Council member, and reinstated him to his former position. Additionally, the Council approved the reinstatement of Vetaruhe Kandorozu, a former long-serving Okakarara constituency councillor.
