More than 30,000 people have been killed in Gaza since Israel’s war with Hamas began in October, the country’s health ministry said Thursday adding that around 70% of the casualties are women and children. Meanwhile, the UN’s top human rights official, Volker Türk said all parties to the Gaza conflict have been responsible for “clear violations of international humanitarian law including possible war crimes”.
