Small-Scale mining boosts economic diversification

Namibia is striving to improve its competitiveness within the Southern African Development Community by prioritising industrialisation in its National Development Plans towards Vision 2030. Small-scale mining plays a pivotal role in supporting livelihoods, reducing poverty, and fostering entrepreneurship, particularly in rural areas with large gemstone deposits.
