Walvis Bay taxi drivers go on strike

Walvis Bay’s taxi operators staged a protest against potholes and exorbitant traffic fines in the town on Tuesday. The group intends to deliver a petition to the municipality on Wednesday. The protest was sparked by the municipality’s failure to address their concerns after receiving two petitions in 2023. Here is Walvis Bay Mayor, Trevino Forbes.
