The anticipated legal clash between the African National Congress and the Umkhonto we Sizwe Party is set for an open court hearing at the High Court in KwaZulu-Natal today. The ANC accuses the MK party of copyright infringement, contending that adopting the name of the ANC’s disbanded armed wing constitutes trademark theft. However, media presence in the courtroom has been limited, with only 15 members permitted, including reporters and photographers, and video or TV cameras disallowed due to space constraints.
