NamPol Opens Attempted Murder Case Against Mentally Challenged Man for Attacking Grandmother

In the Oshikoto region, the Namibian Police Force has initiated an attempted murder case against a 36-year-old mentally challenged man. He allegedly attacked his 89-year-old grandmother with a panga. According to Deputy Commissioner Wynand Neels, the Head of Crime Prevention in the region, the incident occurred around 7am on Saturday at Okapanda village in Oshikoto’s Oniipa constituency. Both the victim and the suspect reside in the same house in Okapanda village, near the Oshigambo settlement in the region.
