Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila emphasized the severe impact of drought on farmers and families in her budget motivation speech. She highlighted shortages of animal feed and food as major concerns. To address this, her office has introduced the Commodity and Beneficiary Management Information System, which digitizes beneficiary data for drought relief food and efficiently issues vouchers. Kuugongelwa-Amadhila stated that this system aims to optimize resource management through technology.
