Modi says need to address ‘abnormal’ ties with China

In an interview to US magazine Newsweek India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that there’s an urgent need to resolve ‘abnormal’ ties with China. The two countries have been engaged in a border standoff over a disputed frontier for nearly four years now. This is the second time this week Modi has made a reference to tense ties with China ahead of general elections.
