AgriBank Mentor Advises Namibian Farmers on Drought Resilience and Business Approach

Arnold Gaseb, a mentor for the Kunene and Erongo regions with the Agricultural Bank of Namibia, emphasized the necessity for farmers to diversify their agricultural practices amidst Namibia’s ongoing drought to ensure their survival. Speaking during a stakeholder engagement session held at Africa Safari Lodge in Mariental, Gaseb stressed the importance of treating farming as a business endeavor. He highlighted the significance of collaboration among stakeholders in the farming industry to pool resources for the benefit of farmers, urging a collective effort to improve living standards and livelihoods.
