The United States is set to unveil an extra $100 million in aid on Sunday to address the conflict in Sudan, as per a statement reviewed by Reuters. This move by Washington aims to encourage international action ahead of the war’s anniversary. According to the statement by Samantha Power, Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, the additional funding, initially disclosed by Reuters, will be directed towards emergency food aid, nutritional support, and other critical life-saving assistance.
