Gauteng Transport MEC Applauds Resolution of Soweto Taxi Disput

Gauteng Transport and Logistics MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, welcomes the progress made in resolving the dispute between the Witwatersrand African Taxi Association and Nancefield Dube-West Taxi Association in Soweto. The department is working on appointing an arbitrator to resolve the route dispute between the associations. The department’s spokesperson, Lesiba Mpya, says their primary goal is to restore stability along the disputed routes and eliminate the uncertainty faced by commuters:
