Bank Windhoek’s Executive Officer of Marketing and Corporate Communication Services, Jacquiline Pack, recently announced the appointment of Gebhard Ilunga as the Bank’s Web Content Developer and Administrator in the Marketing and Corporate
Communication Services department. Ilunga started his new role on 15 March 2024.
“Ilunga joins us from a reputable financial services provider and has over eleven years’ experience in the advertising and marketing industry, and worked for the top advertising agencies in Namibia, where he had the privilege of managing notable banking brands in Southern Africa.
He is an articulate communicator with a track record of effectively collaborating and leading teams,” said Pack.
In his role as the Bank’s Web Content Developer and Administrator, Ilunga will assume responsibility for the performance and overall management of the Bank Windhoek and Capricorn Private Wealth websites and Intranet sites. “He will be responsible in ensuring that our website is relevant and align to a seamless customer journey and experience for Bank Windhoek and Capricorn Private Wealth,” said Pack.
Ilunga holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management from Monash University, South Africa. He has also completed an Agile Project Management course at the University of Cape Town, honing his ability to coordinate various stakeholders towards one unified goal.
Pack concluded by welcoming Ilunga to Bank Windhoek and wished him all the best. “Considering Ilunga’s credentials, excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of web administration best practices, we look forward to his contribution to the Bank Windhoek brand and our broader organisation,” she said.
