City Residents Actively Oppose Windhoek Electricity Tariff Hike Request to ECB

Shaun Gariseb of the Katutura Residents Committee, is taking a stand against the proposed electricity tariff increase in Windhoek. In adherence to the Electricity Act and regulations, Gariseb recently lodged objections with the Electricity Control Board. He argues that the proposed 10% hike, put forward by the City of Windhoek, fails to consider the economic hardships facing residents.
