This move conflicts with the “Air Connect Namibia” strategy aimed at increasing international flights. Stricter visa rules could negatively impact tourism, hospitality, transportation, and retail sectors. Examples from Rwanda and Zambia show that visa liberalization boosts tourism and economic growth.
