Prime Minister, Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila is recovering well following a scheduled operation at a hospital in Windhoek, according to the Office of the Prime Minister. This announcement comes amid rumors on social media suggesting that the Prime Minister is critically ill. OPM spokesperson Rhingo Mutambo confirmed that Kuugongelwa-Amadhila had undergone planned surgery and is currently in a stable condition. According to the doctors, the operation was successful, and doctors expect her to recover completely adding that the PM is expected to recover fully and resume her duties in due course.
