Cape Town Activates Disaster Team Amid Devastating Floods As Thousands Are Now Homeless

The City of Cape Town says its multi-disciplinary disaster coordinating team remains activated until the worst of the weather, and the impacts, have been addressed. More than four-thousand people have been left homeless and about one-thousand homes have been destroyed, following heavy rains caused flooding over the weekend.
