Former US president Donald Trump has called on Americans to “stand united” after the assassination attempt. Trump was shot in the ear while speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania. The FBI has confirmed the 20-year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks was killed. Nick Harper reports from Washington.
