DHPS Kindergarten and Pre-school Renamed

Since 1999, the DHPS Pre-school and later the DHPS Kindergarten have been indispensable parts of Windhoek’s early childhood education offerings. This will continue in the future, but under a new name.

As a newly merged department of the Deutsche Höhere Privatschule Windhoek (DHPS) and an important part of the entire school community, the kindergarten and pre-school of Namibia’s only German International School Abroad now present themselves as the “DHPS Kinder-Campus” under joint management.

“We are a campus where children have quality educational experiences. They are professionally and pedagogically prepared for the German educational path,” says Nils Osewold, Head of the DHPS Kinder-Campus. This is exactly what sets them apart—the high-quality educational character and the exclusive opportunities available at DHPS to children from three months old until school entry: Even the youngest have access to the state-of-the-art sports facilities, the science laboratories, and the excellently equipped library for exploration, learning, and discovery—and that is truly unique.

The school’s guiding principles also apply to the DHPS Kinder-Campus. Thus, language competence, sustainability, unity in diversity, competitiveness, and cooperation are given great importance.
