Regional Energy Regulators Association of Southern Africa Appoints Interim Executive Director

The Regional Energy Regulators Association of Southern Africa has appointed Francois Robinson, Manager for Regulatory Affairs at the Electricity Control Board of Namibia, as its interim Executive Director. According to The Brief, this decision follows the resignation of Elijah Sichone on August 15. RERA’s Executive Committee approved Robinson’s appointment during a meeting on September 9, and it will remain in effect for six months or until a permanent Executive Director is appointed.
